Setwise Privacy Policy

Setwise is built to keep workout and recovery information on your iPhone. The app does not require an account, does not collect analytics, does not show ads, and does not send your workout or recovery data to a Setwise server.

Setwise's App Store privacy information reflects this local-only design: the app does not collect data, does not link data to you, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Setwise stores the information you enter or create while using the app locally on your device. This can include workout programs, exercises, exercise prescriptions, warm-up sets, working sets, completed set logs, workout history, muscle load and recovery estimates, soreness ratings, recovery check-ins, notification preferences, widget snapshots, settings, and export files.

This data is used inside Setwise to show your planned workouts, completed workouts, muscle recovery states, widgets, reminders, and app views.

Setwise does not create user accounts and does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, payment information, identifiers, diagnostics, usage analytics, advertising data, or workout and recovery records.

Setwise does not use advertising tools, analytics tools, third-party tracking tools, subscriptions, cloud sync, or a server service for workout and recovery data.

Setwise does not use Apple HealthKit and does not read from or write to the Apple Health app.

Recovery estimates are based on information you enter into Setwise, not on medical records or HealthKit data.

Setwise may let you export a local data file from Settings. Export files are created only when you choose to create them.

After an export is created, you control where it goes. If you share an export through Messages, Mail, Files, cloud storage, or another app, that sharing is handled by the app or service you choose, not by Setwise.

Setwise can schedule local notifications on your device if you allow notifications. These reminders are handled on device and do not require Setwise to send your data to a server.

Setwise widgets and Shortcuts-related features may read a lightweight local snapshot so they can show useful recovery or workout context outside the main app. These features use local device storage and may show stale or empty information until the app refreshes.

If you contact support, you choose what information to send. A support message may include your name, reply address, device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue if you decide to include them.

Support information is used only to understand and respond to your request. Do not include sensitive workout, medical, or personal information unless it is necessary for the support issue.

Because Setwise stores app data locally, deleting data from inside the app removes it from the app's local storage on that device. You can also delete the app from your iPhone to remove its local app data.

If you manually exported files, saved screenshots, shared data with another app, or included Setwise data in device backups, those copies are controlled by where you saved or shared them.

Your iPhone backup settings are controlled by iOS and Apple services. If your device backs up app data, the backup is handled by Apple or by the backup destination you use.

Setwise does not operate its own backup or cloud-sync service for workout and recovery data.

This Setwise website is provided for app information, privacy, support, and download links. It does not intentionally use advertising cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and time of request, to serve the site, maintain security, and operate the service.

Setwise is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Setwise does not collect app data, Setwise does not knowingly receive personal information from children through the app.

If a parent or guardian believes they sent personal information through a support request and wants it removed, they can contact support.

Setwise provides training context from user-entered workout and recovery logs. It is not medical advice, does not diagnose injury or illness, and does not guarantee that a muscle group is ready to train.

If you have pain, injury concerns, medical conditions, or questions about training safely, consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional.

This policy may be updated if Setwise changes how it handles data or adds new features. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when meaningful changes are made.

If a future release adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, HealthKit, subscriptions, or other data handling changes, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before or alongside that release.
